As a member of the Reservoir Structure Plan Steering Group, I have contributed to future planning for Reservoir, and am committed to following this through. If elected, I will work to implement the Plan to put Reservoir station underground. I propose council host an Economic Perspectives Forum to stimulate local business, consider a local exchange system for participation across all social groups, and encourage appropriate investment beyond the central hub. This will require and promote better disability and transport access throughout the municipality, facilitating local tourism so residents will want to explore their own neighbourhoods, keeping them vibrant. Interlinking walking and bicycle pathways will improve individual health and relationships. I will advocate for extension of Zone One to Keon Park station to overcome the north-south divide, and improved parking and amenity near stations. Vote 1 Patience Grace to bring the more relaxed and spacious north to the rest of Darebin.
